Busy, Busy, Busy

Rolling with a lot.

CLIMBING THE SPIRAL MOUNTAIN with Kindle, tonight should be live with D2D, working on the print release. I really like the final cover. And I think it will be the final cover.

Hot on its heels is the new edition of THE SONG OF ORPHANS, my first novel. Fantasy. Still reads well.

Behind that comes the revised collection of short stories, THE TASTE OF FIRE.

Three books should all be out by September. And the three plays will be folded in, so ... lots.

On Channel Jorune there is SSC #13 and ORFA, the One Roll Fits All RPG system for Jorune, and that is leading to the Pulp version. ORFA is a freebie, ORFA: JORNE goes to all SSC subscribers and may go up on DriveThruRPG.com. The Pulp will be separate on DriveThru.

Then I work on the two finished collections, DANSTEAD TRAVELLER and BORKELBY'S FOLLY. Channel Jorune is chugging along. The COLLECTED SHO COPRA JOE, 2020.

I haven't had need to juggle beyond Fiction and Jorune, but the non-fiction is there if I need to wash my brain after too much saturation in one of those two channels. I DON'T WANNA COOK BOOK and PROPAGANDA.

But a completely different channel is demanding some time. Video production. Specifically, I want to set up a Patreon project worthy of support. I have 27 AA History Podcasts and another 26 Sponsorship Podcasts. I'm going to do a basic video collage based on historic AA photos, give an episode-specific front piece, and a link to the Patreon at the end, then post them all to YouTube. 53 videos on one channel can all be up by the end of October, but I should be able to get 10 done in the next 60 days. Maybe not. Who cares - I'm not on your time table.

Oh, the indexed version of RECOVERY READER is underway and, to my chagrin, the "Second Edition Expanded and Indexed" is becoming "Third Edition." Damn.

All of this is to distract me from the reality of the leg. That means my fight against amputation has gone into high gear. I've been fighting since I got back to California in 1996, was threatened with amputation in 2001, and again in 2005. It's 2019 and the ulcers are back (horrific pictures available on request) and the fight is on. Doctor's appointments - GP, Cardiologist, Wound Specialist, Opthomologist, Podiatrist all in the next 30 days at $50 a pop for the specialists. The advanced neuropathy means that if I lose the leg it won't be that big a deal - I don't feel the leg now, and I won't feel the leg when it's gone. I'll walk on a prosthetic and I won't feel that. Just a balancing act.

And I'm getting good at juggling.
